The Role

The Sale Operations Analyst is an integral member of the Sales team and is responsible for supporting our Field Sales & Channel business, helping administer the CRM system, providing user support and problem resolution for 75+ users, assist in implementation processes, e.g. data import/export/updates, data migration, system customization, reports and dashboard creation in Salesforce and PBI, implementation of workflow and validation rules, template creation, etc. The Sales Operations Analyst will work cross-functionally to identify, develop and deploy new business processes and adoption of the platforms. This individual will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM & PBI platforms.

You will help the sales team to maximize their sales and attainment through analytics, reporting, data streams and KPIs. You will be the partner of sales managers and directors in forecasting, territory planning & management as well as their business review cadence. You are the trusted partner of the sales management team and will make supporting recommendations on ways to improve the productivity and scale of the sales organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from Sales, Pricing, FP&A, Order Management, Channel, IT, and fellow Sales Operations team members 
  • Self-manage to come up with pre sprint technical design and grooming activities
  • Drive user story analysis, elaboration and design. Ensure declarative implementation work meets user requirements and doesn’t degrade other business processes on the platform 
  • Build and maintain custom objects/ fields, validation rules, layouts, reports, dashboards, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, chatter groups, lightning flows, email templates to optimize business processes
  • Champion modular design, reuse, separation of concern, high cohesion and loose coupling 
  • Employ industry best practices to deliver world-class solutions.
  • Enable change, help accelerate innovation and ensure customer delight 
  • Drive activities to meet schedules and timelines
  • Manage the Sales Operations Inbox. Support customer as first line filter for concerns and considerations 
  • Research problems discovered by Stakeholders, QA or product team and collaborate to develop solutions to the problems
  • Maintain knowledge of latest SFDC releases and security concerns raised in each cycle for our implementation.
  • Proactively search for areas to improve, streamline and scale using data, process and systems analyses that measurably impact company revenue 
  • Lead development of projects, measuring the real impact of solutions and adapting as necessary to overcome unexpected roadblocks or other obstacles
  • Point of contact for annual planning territory and quota activities such as territory carving, quota setting and headcount planning. Sales capacity modeling, Sales Activity Dashboard (Account Penetration Model), Sales Attainment reporting, New Logo reporting, Acceleration Plans & Customer Expansion Plans.
  • Reporting & Insights:  MBR, pipeline, forecast,  sales targeting, sales results, etc. Design and maintain power BI dashboards for all stakeholders.
  • Train new sales personnel on SFDC and PBI tools and overall sales business processes.
What We Expect From You:
  • Salesforce.com Admin and Power BI certifications preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of experience administering Salesforce organizations to meet business requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations or Business Operations in high-growth SaaS or technology companies
  • Strong quantitative capabilities with a passion for numbers and analytics
  • Experience working with BI/Analytics tools
  • High proficiency in Excel 
  • Experience in working both classic interface and lightning interface preferred
  • Ability to use out-of-the-box SFDC functionality as well as building custom solutions or implementing app exchange applications 
  • Experienced with workflows/ process builders and lightning flows
  • Strong documentation and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Curious, independent, rigorous and proactive kind of a person 
  • Ability to tell the story and present the results in a clear and interesting way 
  • Great communicator and can build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Excellent team player, and strong attention to details
  • Nice to Have: 
    • Salesforce.com Advanced Admin certification preferred
    • Experience working in an Agile environment
    • Experience with JIRA and Confluence a plus 
    • Experience with Data Loader is a Plus 
    • Experience with SFDC DevOps tools 
    • Experienced working with SQL / SOQL / SOSL Queries is a plus
