The Role
We are seeking a Content Marketing Operations Lead to drive clarity, structure, and operational excellence across our dynamic content marketing team. You will own the processes and platforms underpinning our content efforts, partnering with strategists and creators to enable smarter, more efficient workflows.
This role blends project management, process optimization, and technology enablement. If you’re passionate about building systems that keep people aligned and creative, and love turning ambiguity into action, we want to meet you.
What you'll do:
- Project & Workflow Management
- Oversee intake, triage, prioritization, and tracking of content requests to ensure on-time delivery and balanced team workloads.
- Design, maintain, and continuously improve project boards, content calendars, and progress trackers in tools like Asana and Miro to ensure transparency, efficiency, and collaboration.
- Keep project management boards structurally organized to support sprint planning, team ideation, workflow mapping, and knowledge sharing.
- Serve as the primary administrator for our content repositories and ensure information is logically organized, accessible, and up-to-date.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Build and manage real-time dashboards to track project status, team performance, content outputs, and resource allocation across programs.
- Regularly analyze workflow and performance data to surface bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and report on outcomes to key stakeholders.
- Develop and circulate clear, actionable reports—driving alignment and enabling decision-making at all levels.
- AI & Technology Integration
- Champion the implementation and optimization of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, custom GPTs) to streamline research, ideation, production, and reporting.
- Build, document, and maintain prompt libraries, templates, and SOPs for AI-driven content processes; train team members on best practices and usage guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with IT, platform owners, and cross-functional teams to integrate AI and automation tools seamlessly into current systems (CMS, Miro, project management platforms).
- Operational Excellence
- Establish and continuously refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maximize efficiency and quality throughout the content lifecycle.
- Proactively hunt for and eliminate manual, redundant, or inefficient steps—championing scalable solutions and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Act as a cross-functional liaison, ensuring coordination and communication between content, creative, and campaign teams.
- 5+ years in content operations, project management, marketing operations, or creative project management in leadership roles.
- Proven expertise managing content workflows, repositories, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Miro, or similar platforms).
- Strong analytical skills; experience with data dashboards.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process change, facilitate team adoption of new technologies, and maintain high standards for documentation and knowledge management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven strength in cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with AI-driven content creation or martech tools is preferred, or an interest in learning AI-enabled workflows.
- Passion for building collaborative, high-functioning teams and evolving best practices.
- Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall framework methodologies
- PMP Certification (good to have)
