Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Weekends off
Work Type and Location: Hybrid, San Pedro Sula, or Tegucigalpa (2 times a week work from the office)

The Role
As a Team Lead you will be reporting directly to the Program Manager of the campaign. You will set integrity examples for the team to show what it takes to be selected and promoted within the campaign. You demonstrate key characteristics such as: responsibility, reliability, product knowledge, leadership (lead by example), management skills, time availability, positive attitude, open to feedback, coaching skills, mentor & a good relayer. You are also expected to manage your time to still achieve your non-production and production metrics.
As a Team Lead, you ensure everyone remains busy and working toward the common team goal, while maintaining all team management related tasks, you have a natural approach with associates to provide quality feedback in order to enhance quality and output. Your contribution is limitless and certainly not confined to this job description.
What You’ll Do:
- Reviewing daily workload with the Partnerhero team
- Overseeing production
- Initial Previews (2 - 3 Initial Preview Websites will be assigned to the leads each week), Revisions, QAs, Zendesk tasks, Overtime, etc.)
- This may vary depending on team load or associates' OOO
- Completing daily Tasks: Zendesk tasks, QAs, and revisions
- Designating task reviews
- Supporting designers on daily questions
- Supporting new hires' full training
- Supporting designers with refreshers and additional resources for areas of opportunity
- Completing shadowing sessions when needed
- Syncing with Manager
- Having 1:1 Sessions with designers
- Having leadership syncs
- Shedding light and support each other on team trends
- Sharing ideas for overall team improvement
- Discussing Design Check In strategies
- Sharing resources to help build each other
- Syncing with partner to go over:
- Identifying and expanding upon best practices and areas of improvement so as to streamline our processes and collaborative efforts
- Trends & areas of improvement
- Personal development progress
- Designating QAs (2 evaluations per associate)
- Coaching Sessions based on QA scores & review trends
- Following up on associates' personal development and projects
- Shadowing designers to follow their design processes and point out areas of opportunities. Providing live feedback and suggestions, as well as following up during coaching sessions. Learn more here
- Making sure Daily Standup meetings are achieving their purpose and that everyone’s workload is fair
- Leading weekly meetings with announcements, updates, trends, etc. Also during this meeting, each designer owns a subject to share their experience/expertise with the rest of the team. The lead is in charge of making sure there’s enough availability for this meeting as well as making sure there’s a topic for each one of these
- Putting together workshops, Creative meetings, feedback, and online courses/tools to reinforce and develop design skills
- Making sure designers keep up with the current code trends and try new things on their websites. To do this I research daily and send the information found to the rest of the designers
- Providing mentorships for other leads-to-be as well as senior designers. Should be able to grant recognition on group and individual performance when necessary to boost a team's productivity and performance
- Taking ownership of looking for areas of improvement within partners operations-wise and creating projects that will help tackle them
- Reviewing the web design of 4 designers in partners daily. Provides feedback in accordance with the initial design created, from a designer standpoint, making sure the task instructions are followed and the customer requests are completed
- Making sure Daily Standup meetings are achieving their purpose and that everyone’s workload is fair
- Tracking attendance and absenteeism on Tsheets
- Creating weekly huddles and ensuring expectations are understood and met
- Ensuring Partnerhero and partners' policies are understood and complied with the point-of-contact for the team
- Helping the program manager manage the day-to-day flow of operations
- Scheduling the team's vacation requests
What We Expect From You:
- Coding and web design are required
- Assurance that all metrics and goals are being accomplished
- Direct communication with the partner to receive feedback, monthly syncs, catch trends, determine when it’s time to hire, etc., and discuss the needed item with the Senior Manager, Design Ops
- Day-to-day support with inquiries regarding code, design, and platform. The lead should be a subject matter expert and can answer any inquiries the designer has and be able to go to the right person when he/she doesn’t have the answers
- Proficiency in providing coaching/feedback to designers to improve program metrics and associates’ performance as well as their development.
- Capability to think on their own feet, act fast, and think critically to ensure good decision-making
- Risk identification at an early stage and taking effective and timely action to correct it
- Constant communication with their manager
- Assurance of a healthy work environment and relationship within the team
- Development for associates - individually and identifying their strengths
- Effective and clear communication with associates
- Ability to work effectively with other internal departments to achieve overall organizational goals
- Effective and timely responsive action where appropriate, and recommends workflow changes and enhancements
- Ability to manage their time by their workload. Has a minimum of 2 complete websites per week plus revisions and additional smaller tasks
