Contract Type: Temporary contract of 3 months
Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm | Weekends off
Work Schedule: Morning schedules (6 AM-3 PM, 8 AM-5 PM, 10 AM-7 PM,) Days off to be decided
Work type and Location: Hybrid - San Pedro Sula & Tegucigalpa

The Role
We are looking for a Content Moderator who will help promote a safe, authentic, and accepting environment on the platform. You will be accountable for applying the partner's community guidelines to content submitted by its users. This role involves monitoring and identifying potentially harmful content, assessing whether it complies with the guidelines, and filtering out anything inappropriate. This will consist of independently and manually reviewing a high volume of items in the backend.
Important Note: Bear in mind that you will be exposed to potentially offensive and disturbing content.
What You’ll Do:
- Providing excellent, friendly, and positive customer service via email
- Helping to enforce and ensure compliance with the Community Guidelines for one of the industry-leading dating apps
- Helping customers solve problems with strong reading comprehension, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking
- Savvy with web, computer, and smartphones
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Reporting discrepancies in processes to the Team Leads and upper management
- Collaborating directly with the Trust & Safety Team to escalate sensitive users’ concerns and requests for further investigation
What We Expect From You:
- Excellent English skills - spoken and written (EFSET results from C1 or C2 level)
- Experience in customer support roles
- You’re culturally, socially, and politically aware and are a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills
- Strong work ethic and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable making decisions with limited information available
- Experience moderating offensive and disturbing content is a plus
