The Role
Are you passionate about Human Resources? Crescendo is looking for an amazing HR Generalist to help us support operations in the Tegucigalpa hub. As a Human Resources Generalist at Crescendo, you’ll be the link between associates, leaders and the different departments, including the People Operations team, managing core HR processes while supporting strategic initiatives that improve the employee experience, aligned to the company policies, local laws, and the Crescendo Culture.
What You’ll Do:
- Work alongside our Operations team to provide support for HR-related matters, including but not limited to the administration of policies, benefits, HR processes, payroll, employee handbook, engagement initiatives, other guidelines, and resources
- Support wellness initiatives and lead and document group discussions, skip level 1:1’s, and other tools that enable transparent open communication, culture enhancement, and employee engagement
- Handle conflict resolution conversations, as well as providing coaching and tools for leaders and associates on this matter
- Support Learning and Development initiatives by leading workshops, identifying talent, and guiding associates on development roadmaps
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records using HRIS and digital Tools applicable
- Help drive company-wide programs, events, and initiatives
- Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and confidential manner.
- Collaborate with Vendors and strategic partners to deliver high-quality employee services
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, innovate, and lead or serve as an SME on team-wide projects focused on process or program improvement.
- Support our People Operations leadership in all aspects of people management
What We Expect From You:
- 3+ years of experience in human resources or related assignment
- In-depth knowledge of Honduran labor laws and HR best practices.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and outstanding client service orientation; ability to interact with people at all levels, develop rapport and influence others.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to identify business needs or process improvement suggestions and communicate suggestions to leadership or others as appropriate.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work
- Takes initiative (you get things done) but also kind-hearted (you’re empathetic and easy to work with) and a team player
- Proficient in Google suite; experience with an HRIS preferred.
