Position Summary

The Reports Analyst for Recruitment plays a vital role in supporting the Talent Acquisition team by providing data-driven insights and analytics. This role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing recruitment reports and dashboards to help optimize hiring strategies, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and support decision-making processes.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, is detail-oriented, and has a keen understanding of recruitment metrics and trends.


Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Design, generate, and maintain recruitment reports and dashboards to track performance metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate pipeline health, and quality of hire.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights to the Talent Acquisition team to enhance hiring strategies and processes.

Dashboard Management

  • Develop and maintain visual dashboards using tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or other analytics platforms.
  • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and accessible to key stakeholders.

Data Integrity

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by regularly auditing and validating recruitment data from applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other sources.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to resolve data discrepancies and maintain data integrity.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership to understand reporting needs and deliver custom reports.
  • Present data findings in clear, concise formats tailored to various audiences, including senior leadership.

Process Optimization

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and recommend automation solutions where applicable.
  • Stay updated on best practices in recruitment analytics and implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field.

Experience

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a reporting or data analytics role, preferably within HR or recruitment.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., JazzHR, Workday, Greenhouse) and HRIS platforms.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
  • Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and KPIs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high data quality standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to convey data insights.
