The Role
We are looking for a skilled Content Specialist to work with user-generated content being posted on one of our partner's casting job-site marketplace and to support this segment of users. The Content Specialist’s responsibilities include examining, editing, and optimizing the casting jobs being posted to the site; helping to verify the authenticity of the jobs and the job-posters; spot-checking background-check data; answering users’ related questions; entering job details provided by 3rd-parties, and monitoring marketplace activity.

This is a hybrid role that will require 2 days in office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work through a ticket queue of incoming job posts, optimizing and editing the content for publication on the site
  • Identify items that need additional information or verification and follow up with the job posters to collect the necessary details
  • Shut down scams and inappropriate content
  • Review user IDs, background checks, and other verification materials when flagged for possible issues, make decisions when possible, and assist the customers with completing or explaining their background materials when necessary
  • Review system-generated site-activity alerts related to client/job-poster activities (users creating changes to their previously approved listings, hitting messaging limits, etc.), and take additional actions when needed
  • Assist clients with any questions they have with using the marketplace’s job-posting and application-management tools
  • Enter additional job details provided by employers and third parties into the system for publication
  • Examine job database reports to identify previously approved jobs that may need additional attention, recategorization, or early expiration, to help maintain the freshness and relevance of the content
  • Escalate potential problem cases to senior staff for additional guidance
  • Supporting senior staff members in additional administrative and research tasks related to the jobs platform

What We Expect From You:

  • Excellent English skills - spoken and written (EFSET results from C1 or C2 level)
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Self-directed with a proven track record of working with a high volume of specialized data, users, and content
  • Highly organized and detail- and deadline-oriented
  • Excellent copy editing, fact-checking, proofreading, and research skills
  • Good data entry and account management/client support skills
  • Interest or previous experience in performing arts or marketing
